It has become worse because I could see the intro screen and logo previously.
Now it is all black until gameplay starts

Although the flickering has indeed been resolved the plugin still suffers from a few issues already mentioned like missing screens etc.

Below you will see a video of when you first load the game and there are no screens just blackness until you get to the game select and it goes in game and you can play. the video will show the issue that if you do not press at the game select or at all and just let it do its internal video loop (reset as it were) how the screens appear but then when you go in game its just blackness (a total opposite effect) from the first time round lol

there is a serious res issue with the game and the flickering is rather bad

Perfect Dark - not so perfect

For the game itself, the 1st screen (PD1) appears oversized and the bottom text is truncated - compare to Glide64_image1.

When intro video starts, only a small portion at the top is visible but will appear fully after frame swap(?) - compare to Glide64_image2.

When gameplay starts, the lighting effect is missing and blue sky is black - compare to Glide64_image3.
Fixed flicker problem.
