Hey everyone,

I?ve been trying to get TR64Dev up and running on my Windows 11 setup, but I?m running into some weird issues. The emulator launches fine, but as soon as I try to load a ROM, the screen either goes black or freezes completely. I?ve already tried compatibility mode (Windows 7 and XP), running as admin, and even tweaking some of the video plugin settings ? no luck so far.

Is anyone else running TR64Dev on Windows 11 successfully? If so, what configuration or plugins are you using? I?m especially curious if there?s a recommended graphics plugin or specific settings that help with stability.

I had a similar issue on Windows 11 ? TR64Dev would either crash or freeze when loading ROMs. What fixed it for me was:

Running it in Windows 7 compatibility mode (not XP).

Disabling hardware acceleration in the video plugin.

Using GLideN64 as the graphics plugin instead of Jabo.

And, most importantly, running the emulator as admin.

After that, it?s been stable so far. Also, make sure your GPU drivers are fully updated ? older drivers can cause black screen issues with TR64Dev.
